Welcome to Equipping Faithful Disciples.
We are Dean and Sylvia Hebron and our purpose for this site is
twofold: 1) to inform our friends and prayer supporters of our
ministry efforts and 2) to encourage those of you who visit here
to be equipped as faithful disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Even though this site is not specifically designed to be evangelistic, it is obvious that many people surfing the internet for answers could end up here. We have an equally fervent desire to see people find the security of eternal life that Christ offers. Are you looking for peace and security and can't find it? Do you want to understand the uniqueness of Christ? Do you sense that you have sin in your heart but can't figure out how to take care of it? If questions like these bother you, there are answers in the Bible. I would encourage you to begin by reading carefully the article How To Know You Are Going to Heaven. Later if you would like some more help I will try to assist you. Please read the News page and understand that I have a full-time ministry and don't have a lot of time. If you'll be patient, I'll do the best I can. I believe that God will provide for us both.
There are thousands of web sites on the World Wide Web that say they teach the Bible. Unfortunately, there are not
many that follow historic principles of interpretation and Bible-believing
theology. This site (along with a few like-minded web sites)
provides instruction that is biblically based, according to historically
accepted methods of interpretation. Please follow the links
on the links page to some other helpful web sites (although you
should read the caution stated there).
